A Mission Is Not Just A Workflow.
A workflow is a sequence of steps. A mission is a workflow plus an outcome, plus judgment, plus history.
A workflow is a sequence of steps. A mission is a workflow plus an outcome, plus judgment, plus history.

Workflow tools describe how something happens. Mission-oriented systems also describe what it is trying to achieve, and where it might go wrong.
A mission answers: What outcome is expected? What information is being used? Who is responsible? What decisions were made along the way? What has been learned?
This is why AlterX is built around missions, not workflows. Workflows are inside missions. Missions carry the intent, the guardrails and the record.
